Laurie J. Davis Ellis, 53, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Iowa, died Dec. 29, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Herb Ellis; her parents, Arden and Barbara Davis; two sons, Kyle Brown and Tyler Brown; and two brothers, Kevin Davis and Scott Davis.

Services are private in Venice. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cedar Falls.

A Celebration of Life Service for Laurie Davis-Ellis will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, in the Chapel of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls.

She is survived by her husband, Herb Ellis; two sons, Kyle and Tyler Brown; parents, Arden and Barbara Davis; and two brothers, Kevin and Scott Davis.

Memorials to National Alliance on Mental Illness of Black Hawk County at Allen Hospital.
