Leona T. Lofton, 95, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born February 17, 1911, in Fremont Township, Bremer County, Iowa, the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Guhlow) Buhrow. She married Arville Lofton on March 24, 1945, in Waterloo. He died June 22, 1971.

Survived by three brothers: Leonard Buhrow of Waterloo, Louis (Ann) Buhrow of Lake Havasu, AR, and Paul (Rose) Buhrow of Jesup; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Bertha Hinson and Oreta Ferson; and a brother, Alfred Buhrow.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with interment in Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Public visitation will occur one hour prior to services at the Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel or Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is in charge of the arrangements
