Ruth Mendenhall, 76, of 607 Cataract Ave., died Saturday, Nov. 10, 1990, at her home.

She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Harrison County, daughter of Charles J. and Otta Maud Robertson Unmack. She married Harry R. Mendenhall on April 14, 1934, in Council Bluffs. He died April 13, 1989.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Kluver of Corona, Calif., and Eileen Grady of Waterloo; a son Michael C. of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; a brother, Charles Unmack of DeWitt; and three sisters Ingaletta Basher of Bothell, Wash., Ellender Stefanic of Mesa, Ariz., and Darlyn Killion of Council Bluffs.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Paul Unmack.

Private family services will be Wednesday morning at Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
