WATERLOO — Laura C. Rust, 84, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Waterloo and Dayton, Ohio, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, in St. Petersburg of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 18, 1912, in Independence, daughter of Harold and Olive Turner Closson.

Survived by a son, David of Oakland, Calif.; and a daughter, Susan Rust of Lauderhill, Fla.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, was in charge of arrangements.
