Alvina Utesch

Services for Alvina Utesch, 86, of the Williams Rest Home in La Porte City and formerly of 1422 W Sixth St. Waterloo will be 10:30 Saturday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoff Funeral Home in Cedar Falls with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls. She died at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allen Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 13, 1892, in Medaryville,Ind. daughter of Carl and Sophia Hahn. She married August Hein and he died in 1952. She married Henry Utesch May1, 1959 in Waterloo.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Merle McKinley of San Benito, Texas, Mrs. Rollie Robinson, of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Charles Lind of Brandon; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday and until service time at the funeral home. The family suggest memorials be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterloo.
