Arline A. Podhaski, 89, of Waterloo died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born November 13, 1917 in Paulina, daughter of Charles and Rose Hass Meyer.

She married Roy Podhaski in 1954 and they were later divorced. Arline was employed in the drapery and linen department at JC Penney for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Randy (Mary) Podhaski, of Ankeny, and Jay Tony (Julie) Podhaski of Waterloo; four grandchildren: Sara (Travis), Ray, Amy Podhaski, Aaron Podhaski and Nick Podhaski; a sister, Orphia Dumler of Cedar Falls, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a brother Clifford Meyer.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and also for an hour before services on Friday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
