Services for Wally J. Silva, 63, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and formerly of 528 Archer St., will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church. There will be a 7:30 rosary Friday at the Oppold Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday.

He died Wednesday at the Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville, Arkansas, of a heart attack.

He was born December 8, 1915 in Mexico, son of Leo and Rufigo Silva. He married Martha Martinez on September 19, 1939, in Minnesota. He had been employed at the Rath Packing Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1977.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard of 571 Martin Road and Benjamin of St. Paul, Minnesota; three grandchildren; his mother of St. Paul, Minnesota; five brothers, Jesse of 571 Martin Road, Ralph of Isanti, Minnesota, John of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; and Carmel and Frank, both of St. Paul; two sisters, Mrs. Angie Romierz of St. Paul and Mrs. Mary Lou Bueno of San Jose, California.
