Mrs. Orville Hendren

Services for Mrs. Orville Hendren, 70, of Dubuque and formerly of Waterloo, will be at the Brant-Kerns Funeral Home in Oelwein at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Olewein.

She died Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. of cancer at Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.

She was born Opal Lumley, March 17, 1907, the daugher of Lizzie and Ed Lumley in Eagle, Colorado.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Lyle of 1049 Ridgemont Rd. and Bill of Crowley, Texas; twin daughters, Mrs. Gladyce Maloney of Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Georgia Bankson of Dubuque; a sister, Mrs. Gladyce Edwards of Hazleton, and three brothers, Dale Lumley of Clear Lake; Harry Lumley of Nashua, and Oval Lumley of Hampton; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Cancer Society.
