CEDAR FALLS-Services for Lola C. Moon, 82, of Cedar Falls Care Center, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Moon died Tuesday morning at the care center.

She was born April 15, 1896 in Clarksville, daughter of William M. and Mary Morris Carter. She married Carl Bergen, in 1917, in Waverly. Later she married William Moon, in 1960, in Rochester, Minn. A graduate of Clarksville High School, she received her BA degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1917. She was director of relief for Black Hawk County until her retirement in 1960.

She is survived by a son, Carter J. Bergen, 1728 Maplewood Drive; three step-sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Curtis of Green, Mrs. Bernice Culbertson of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Shirley Miekelson of Miami, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. H.G. Lodge of Clarksville.

The family suggests memorials to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, and friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday and until service time.
