CEDAR FALLS — Vera B. Andreasen, 87, of the Western Home, died Friday, April 2, 1999, at the home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Waterloo, daughter of Jesse W. and Sadie Engstrom Jackson.

She married Clarence Wedeking in Waterloo. They were later divorced. She married Raymond P. Andreasen on Sept. 15, 1951, in Fulton County, Arkansas. He died Sept 7, 1983.

Mrs. Andreasen was a cosmetologist in the Waterloo- Cedar Falls area for 23 years.

Survived by a son, Ron Wedeking of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Mary Lou Demmer of Dubuque; a stepson, Richard Andreasen of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Virgil Jackson of Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by a step-daughter, Jackie Dillon; and a brother, Vernon.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kearns Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home
