HUDSON—Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Walter. 82, of 8127 Holmes Road. Hudson, will be 2 p. m. Saturday at Hudson Community Church. The Rev. Gerald A. Stevens, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Township Cemetery. Mrs. Walter died at 11:40 p.m. Thursday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 29. 1891, in Powesheik County, the daughter of John and Sarah Henderson Rose. She was married to Frank L. Walter on Feb. 25, 1914, in
Montezuma, Iowa.

Mrs. Walter was a member of Hudson Community Church and of the W.M.U. Group of the church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. LaVaun Carlson of Brooklyn, Iowa, Mrs. Rollin Connell of 8127 Holmes Road, Hudson; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home after 7 p. m. Friday.
