WATERLOO — Virginia “Ginny” Saylor, 78, of Des Moines, formerly of Waterloo, died March 9, 2013.

She was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Albert City, daughter of Douglas and Helen Boyce.

Survived by three sons: Michael, Stephen (Denise) and Scott (Vicky); four granddaughters; four great-grandsons; two sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Goral and Donna (Dino) Silvestre; and three brothers: Douglas (Paula) Boyce II, Eugene (Paula) Boyce and Randal (Nancy Weiss) Boyce.

Celebration of Life service was March 16 at Lutheran Church of Hope, West Des Moines.

Memorials may be directed to Above and Beyond Cancer, Freedom for Youth, Lutheran Church of Hope, and Mercy Hospice.
