LA PORTE CITY — Shelley R. Fryman, 38, of La Porte City, died Sunday, April 4, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of pancreatic cancer.

She was born July 26, 1960, in Kendallville, Ind., daughter of Harold J. Flockhart and Wanda A. Hoffman Johnson. She married Jeffrey S. Fryman on Oct 15, 1994, in Waterloo.

A 1978 La Porte City High School graduate, Mrs. Fryman attended nursing school in Stillwater, Okla., and was a licensed practical nurse for five years at the Western Home, Cedar Falls.

Survived by her husband; a son, Travis McClenny, and a stepson, Jeffrey D. Fryman, both of La Porte City; two daughters, Autumn and Kari Wardlow, both of La Porte City; her mother and stepfather, Wanda and Sig Johnson of Waterloo; a brother, Thomas Findley of Hills; and four sisters: Jan Bradley of Sedalia, Mo., Rae Lynne Irwin and Christie Stufflebeam, both of Waterloo, and Rhonda Doyle of Elmhurst, ni.

Preceded in death by: her father.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Western Home Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service, West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the Western Home.
