CEDAR FALLS — Lester N. Ravn, 78, of Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, died Monday, Dec. 31, 1990, at the Lutheran Home of cancer.

He was born Aug. 14, 1912, in Cedar Falls, son of Carl and Elnora Paulson Ravn. He married Eleanor Weisbard on June 8, 1947, in Cedar Falls. She died April 8, 1979.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and, prior to retiring, worked in construction.

Survivors include a brother, Leonard of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death fay two brothers, Elmer and Harold; and a sister, Betty Miller.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Visitation at the chapel will be an hour before services.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
