CEDAR FALLS — Nell Phillips, 77, of Dallas, and formerly of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 1990, at Doctors Hospital, Dallas, of natural causes.

She was bom Jan. 15, 1913, in Dunkerton, daughter of Asahel and Mary French Owen. She married Omar Weldon "Shorty" Phillips and he died Dec. 5, 1988.

Survivors include a son, Robert of Dallas; a daughter, Diana Hartman of Dallas; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Gertrude Wynn and Alice Stoner.

Services will be noon Thursday at Restland Memorial Chapel, Dallas, with burial in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call anytime at the funeral home.
