CEDAR FALLS — Carolyn Glenn, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of James and Esther Miller Cousins. She married Willis Glenn on Sept. 9, 1956, in Olin.

Mrs. Glenn was a graduate of Olin High School and Iowa State University. She taught home economics at Monticello High School and farmed with her husband for many years near Olin. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the 20th Century Club (Federated Women’s Club), St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Olin, and St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Jaymee (David) Glenn-Burns of Cedar Falls and Ann Grove of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Allyn Glenn-Burns and Magee Glenn-Burns, both of Cedar Falls, and Cecilia Grove of Davenport; and a brother, Robert (Sharon) Cousins of Olin.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Rose Glenn-Burns.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Western Home Communities Windridge, 5311 Hyacinth Drive, Cedar Falls. Services will also be 11 a.m. March 23 at Olin Community Methodist Church.
