CEDAR FALLS - Cleone L. Evers, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Dec. 26, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 7,1926, in Mount Carmel, daughter of Frank and Emma Damm Steinkamp.

She married Rollin Evers June 17, 1947, in Arcadia; he died Feb. 2, 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Evers and his wife Carol of Mason City, Iowa and Doug Evers and his wife Jill of Kokomo, Indiana; a daughter, Renee Evers of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren: Elisa Anne Evers, Jay Douglas Evers, Jeffrey Paul Evers, Ryan Grover Evers, Nathan William Evers and Kristen Renee Evers; a brother, Melvin (Bernice) Steinkamp of Arcadia; and three sisters: Leota (Harold) Eich of Ogden, Iowa, Jean Wernimont of Atlantic, Iowa and Neva Wittaker of Orange, California and a special companion, her dog Anna Marie.

Cleone was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Dahl-Van-Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.

Memorial fund will be established.
