Funeral services are pending for Mrs. Thelma Kathryn Jacobsen, 60, of 3770 Lafayette St. at the Mason and Hand Funeral Home bf Tama Mrs. Jacobsen died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital massive stroke;

She was born Feb. 19, 1908, the daughter of William and Winifred Aldrich; in Tama. She was married to Carl Jacobsen June 16,1925 Tama and lived there until 1957 when they moved to Evansdale. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Carla, at home; two sons, Paul of South Pekin, Illinois, and Larry of Raymond; one brother, Bernard of Independence; one sister, Mrs. Anita Jacobsen of Tama and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two daughters and a sister.
