EVANSDALE — Melodie Lynn Wroe, 53, of Evansdale, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Feb. 8, 1960, in Waterloo, daughter of Lester and Fern Miller Wroe.

She graduated from River Hills School, Waterloo, and then worked at Northstar and recently Harmony House Day Program.

Survived by two brothers, Dennis (Billie) Wroe of Elk Run Heights and Rick (Kelly) Wroe of Faribault, Minn.; and four sisters, Evelyn Smith and Janice Wroe, both of Evansdale, and Pam (John) Clinton and Brenda Wroe, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ronald Wroe, and a brother-in-law, Bill Smith.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, An Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
