A. A. 'Ollie' Imhoff

Services for A. A. "Ollie" Imhoff, 77, of 806 Loretta Ave., will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church. Mr. Imhoff was dead on arrival Monday morning at Covenant Medical Center at West Ninth Street.

He was born Oct. 8, 1908, in Dubuque, son of George and Theresa Frommelt Imhoff. He married Rosemary Luke on June 22,1938, in Dubuque.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Waterloo in 1947. He was assistant manager of Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. until 1972 when he retired. Mr. Imhoff held all the offices in the Waterloo Association of Life Underwriters; served in an office of the Iowa Association of Life Underwriters; was past president of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Men; was past president of the St. Vincent De Paul Society; was past president of the Gates Park Improvement Association and was instrumental in the development of Gates Park Golf Course.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, George "Tod" of Omaha and Jeffery "Tuck" of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Pamela Kelly of Baltimore, Md.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn of Skokie, HI., and Norbert of Dubuque; and three sisters: Mrs. Isabella Powell and Mrs. Bernadette Dolan, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. Armella Frye of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Paul; and three sisters: Agatha Tigges, Josephine Tressel and Anna Irnhof.

An Ambassadors of Mary rosary will be at 3:00, a parish rosary at 7:00 and a St. Vincent De Paul Society rosary at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society or Columbus High School.

Services for A.A. "Ollie" Imhoff, 77, of 806 Loretta Ave., will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church with burial ai 3 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Dubuque, where military rites will be conducted by the Dubuque American Legion Post.

Mr. Imhoff was dead on arrival Monday morning at Covenant Medical Center at West Ninth Street.

Friends may call until 9p.m. today and from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oppold Funeral Home, where an Ambassadors of Mary rosary will be at 3, a Knights of Columbus rosary at 6, a Scripture service at 7 and a St. Vincent De Paul Society rosary at 8 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society or Columbus High School.
