Sandra M. Heath, 60, of Cedar Falls died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa following a lengthy illness.

She was born September 25, 1943 at Wall Lake, Iowa the daughter of Ed & Bertha (Schoenboom) Werkmeister. She married Leo Heath June 2, 1962 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Sandra was employed as a maid at the Black Hawk Hotel for 22 years.

Survivors include her husband, Leo, of Cedar Falls; one son, Kevin Heath of Waterloo; two daughters, Kimberly (Allyn) Kirkpatrick and Dawn Heath of Cedar Falls, one grandson; four brothers, Duane (Marge) Werkmeister of Lake View, Iowa, Dale Werkmeister of Denver, Colorado, Robert (Mary) Werkmeister and Larry (Nadine) Werkmeister all of Waterloo; and one sister, Mary Henry of Cedar Falls.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Leo Heath, Jr., and three brothers: Ken, Don, and Earl.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial at Hillside Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established.
