MRS. CLARA D. GRUMMITT

Services for Mrs. Clara D. Grummitt, 88, a former Waterloo resident recently of Aurora, Ill., will be 8 p.m. Monday at the Healy Chapel in Aurora. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Midwest Garden of Memories in Waterloo, with the Rev. Edgar C. Kruse, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, officiating. Mrs. Grummitt died Saturday evening in Aurora, Ill.

She was born July 4, 1885, in Tama County, the daughter of Henry and Sophia Jipp Eichmeier. She was married to Henry Stickfort March 10, 1915, in Gladbrook, where she lived until moving to Oelwein.

The Stickforts moved to Waterloo in 1940 and lived here until 1967, when she and her second husband, Robert Neiman, moved to Aurora, Ill.

She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club here, and was active in the Salvation Army. She was employed by Sibert's Laundry here until she retired.

Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Wayne Billman, 1612 Franklin St., Evelyn Paul, Campbell, Calif., Mrs. Viola Fullmer, Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Marian Brem, Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Darlene Wiler, North Aurora, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Stickfort, her second husband, Robert Neiman, her third husband, Waldo Grummitt, one son, one brother, and three sisters.
