BESSIE C. WARD

Funeral services for Bessie C. Ward, 67, of Windsor Care Center, Cedar Falls, formerly of the Black Hawk County. Home, are tentatively planned for Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Memories West with the Rev. James T. Robinson, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories. Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Chapel of Memories West.

Mrs. Ward died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Windsor Care Center of complications of cancer.

She was born Feb. 24, 1906 in Geneva. She moved to Waterloo in 1924. She married Perry Ward on Sept. 22, 1929, in the Little Brown Church at Nashua. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Ward is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Faust, 922 W. Second St., two grandchildren and one brother, George Huntbatch of Annawan, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1966, four brothers and one sister.
