EVERETT L. BELKNAP

Funeral arrangements an pending at the O'Keefe & Town Funeral Home for Everett L. Belknap, 53, of 625 Johnson St., who was found dead at his home about 10 p.m. Sunday,

He was found by by his wife when she returned home at that time from a visit out of town. Dr. Eugene Smith, Deputy Black Hawk County Medical
Examiner, said the death was due to a heart attack, and had probably occurred Thursday.

Mr. Belknap was born on March 28, 1913, in Greene, Iowa, the son of Burrell and Lennie Creeden Belknap. He came to Waterloo in 1946.

He married Katherine Lynch in Waterloo on Sept. 3, 1947. She died in July of 1952. On Feb. 28, 1958, he married Hazel Hamilton in the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Surviving are his widow, one step-son, Kenneth Cline of 629 Newton St.; two brothers, Galen of Charles City; and Harold of Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Dean Belknap of Conrad.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the army from 1941 until 1945.

EVERETT L. BELKNAP

Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home for Everett L. Belknap, 53, of 625 Johnson Street, who was found dead at his home Sunday night.

The Rev. C. Wayne Overhouser, associate pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. Belknap was found by his wife after she returned from an out-of-town visit. He had died of a heart attack, probably on Thursday.
