WATERLOO — Howard G. Frisch, 84, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Sumner, son of Herman and Mabel Timm Frisch. He married Ruth E. Maurer on Aug. 29, 1948, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

He graduated from Sumner High School. Mr. Frisch worked in the beef cut area at Rath Packing Company for 30 years, retiring in 1984.

Survived by his wife of Waterloo; three sons: Herbert (Beverly) of Elk Run Heights, Timothy (Becky) of Grundy Center and Thomas of Jesup; a daughter, Linda (Dennis) Graeber of Reinbeck; nine grandchildren: Lisa Herselius, Dan (Anita) Frisch, Doug (Becca) Frisch, David, Eric, Sarah, Ashley, Baylee and Sophie Frisch; seven great-grandchildren, Alex, Hunter, Abi, Amelia, Caitlin, Ireland and Felicity; 3 step great grandchildren, Reiley, Makenna and Emerson; and a sister, Vera (John) Lilly of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Willard and Loyal.

Private Family Services: Monday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
