Funeral services for Frank R. Perkins, 79, of 902 W. 5th Street, who died Wednesday morning at his home of a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Walnut Street Baptist Church. The Rev. David Moore, pastor, will officiate, with burial in the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Perkins was born December 22, 1882, at Manson, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harlow Perkins. He attended schools in Corwith, Iowa.

He married Bertha Stakesbary October 9, 1907, in Algona. He moved to Waterloo in 1928. He was an employe of the Rath Packing Co. for 24 years, retiring in 1957. He was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow and two sons, J. D. Perkins, of 445 Carolina Ave.; and Harlow W. Perkins, stationed in Portland, Oregon, with the Air Force. Also surviving are three grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
