DIED - At 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, Mrs. Johanna Cratsley died at her residence on Randolph Street, of paralysis and old age, aged about 80 years. The deceased had been an invalid for several years, but was bedfast only about a month.

She was born in New Jersey in 1814 and was married about 19 years afterwards to David Cratsley. Shortly after they were married, they moved to Flint, Michigan, near which place they settled on a farm.

They moved to Waterloo in 1864 and have resided there since. Mr. Cratsley died about 28 years ago.

The deceased was the mother of twelve children, nine of whom are living. Miss Cratsley*, Mrs. Jack Slocum, Mrs. Jesse Wood and Jonathan Cratsley reside in this city, and the others near Flint, Michigan.

The deceased was a highly respected lady, having many commendable traits of character.

Funeral services were held from the house at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. DeWitt Clinton.
