DALE ROSS

Word has been received of the death of Dale Ross, 57*, of Boone, formerly of Waterloo and Evansdale. Mr. Ross died in Boone Friday of a heart attack. Funeral services were Monday in Boone.

He was born on June 12. 1916*, in Waterloo, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Ross. He married Lois Pritchard in Boone on June 26, 1948. He served with the Marine Corps during World War II. He was employed at the Quinn Wire and Iron Works in Boone for 30 years, and was purchasing agent for the firm at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife and two daughters, Michelle and Marti at home: his mother, Mrs. Allen Ross of 325 River Forest Rd.; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Thompson and a nephew, Mike Thompson, both of 133 East End Ave.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
