THOMAS HUTCHINS

Word has been received here of the death of Thomas Francis Hutchins, 65. a former Waterloo resident recently of Elgin. Mr. Hutchins died early Monday in LaCrosse, Wis. His funeral and burial were Wednesday in Elgin.

He was born April 8, 1908, in Hedfield, the son of Perry and Margaret Rawlins Hutchins. He married Eileen Davis March 31, 1934.

Mr. Hutchins was employed for 40 years at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works as a machinist until his retirement in 1960.

He is survived by his wife at home; one son, Lyle, of Palatine, Ill: one daughter, Mrs. Fay Dickson, Santa Clara, Calif.; two brothers, Willard and Howard; one sister, Vera; and four grandchildren.
