WATERLOO — Evelyn M. Heacock Regan, 87, of Fayetteville, Ga., formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Southern Regional Hospital, Riverdale, Ga.
She was born June 26, 1925, in Bremer County, daughter of Anthony C. and Lillian A. Brockmeyer Sievers. She married Robert A. Heacock on May 29, 1946, in Waterloo. He died July 9, 1985. She then married Kenneth L. Regan on Nov. 14, 1987, in Waterloo. He died March 28, 2012.
She worked in food service for 10 years at West Junior High School, Waterloo.
Survived by a son, Michael (Gaylen) Heacock of Camano Island, Wash.; two daughters, Michele (Tom) Rising of Fayetteville and Paula (Jim) Davis of Ellijay, Ga.; two stepsons, Richard (Nancy) Heacock of Cedar Rapids and Michael (Jill) Regan of Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Denise (Kenneth) Becker of Lansing and Karen (Vern) of Clive; a brother, Larry (Carol) Sievers of Waverly; a sister, Darlene (Al) Dana of Waverly; a stepbrother, Stan (Mary) Weddeking of Waverly; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and counting; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Bobby.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
