CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Dorothy F. Hostetler, 91, of the Western Home, died Saturday, February 26, 2000, at her home, of natural causes.

She was born August 28, 1908, in Charles City, the daughter of Frank and Georgia McGrath Jirsa. She married Charles B. Hostetler February 14, 1933, in Waterloo. He died November 16, 1982.

She taught kindergarten in the Waterloo Public School System for 43 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Frankie Ives of Waterloo; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by a sister, Grace.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
