WATERLOO, IOWA - Carolyn M. Jennings, 89, of Waterloo, died Friday, February 25, 2000, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, of natural causes.

She was born February 12, 1911, in Red Oak, the daughter of Charles W. and Ethel Green Hahn. She married Milo E. Jennings October 10, 1940, in Elkader. He preceded her in death December 15, 1981.

She is survived by three sons: Paul J. Shader of Dow City, Charles "Bill" Shader of Tucson, Arizona, and Ronald A. Shader of Saginaw, Texas; a daughter, Ruth Pelham of Jacksonville, Florida; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Archie and Robert Hahn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Parrott and Wood Family Funeral Care, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
