CEDAR FALLS — Vivian L. Richardson, 70, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born Oct. 26, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of Fred and Margaret Louise Ahrens Hanson.

Survived by a son, David (Cindy) of Waterloo; three daughters, Laura (Danny) Melton, Mary Randall and Christine (Enrique) Basan, all of Waterloo; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Herbert and Fredrich (Pearle) Hanson, both of Waverly, Donald (Lulu) Hanson of Waterloo and Charles (Hede) Hanson of Seattle; and two sisters, Agnes Mitchell and Hazel Leonard, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son, Steven; a brother, Lester Hanson; and two sisters, Margaret Bates and Alberta Roth.

There will be no services; her body has been cremated. Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, Waterloo, is assisting the family.
