MARY ELLEN BROWN

Mary Ellen Brown, 74, died at 12:45 p. m. yesterday in a local hospital, from pneumonia.

Deceased was born April 30, 1854, in Bremer County, and had been a resident of Waterloo 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist church.

She is survived by one son, William C. Kern, 1018 Ansborough avenue, with whom she made her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Kistner chapel, Rev. C. L. Kenagy, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating. 'Burial will be at Janesville.
