Mrs. Nettie Sack, 75, Route 2, Waterloo, died of a stroke at 9:45 p.m. Sunday at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Katie Rahn, Chadwick, Ill., where she was visiting.

The former Nettie Lang was born June 28, 1869, in Carroll county, Illinois, the daugther of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lang.

She was married Dec. 24, 1890, to Ira C. Sack at Fairview, Ill. They farmed in Illinois until 1903 when they moved to Mt. Vernon township, Black Hawk county, Iowa. In 1927, they moved to 1720 West 19th street, Cedar Falls, where they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Dec. 24, 1940. He died Aug. 6, 1941, and she made her home the last three years with her daugther, Mrs. Ansel Moore, Route 2, Waterloo.

She was a member of Cedar Falls First Evangelical church.

Survivors include the daughter, and seven grandchildren, including Staff Sgt. Earl Eddy, Victorville, Cal., and Cpl. Eugene Eddy, stationed in England. There are nine great grandchildren. One brother, Conrad Lang, resides in Los Angeles, Cal. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

The body will be brought to the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home here. Funeral arrangements were incomplete Monday.
