[Waterloo Courier, Tuesday, January 29, 2013]

Ann Lindquist, daughter of Edward and Helen Brucher, was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Waterloo, and died Jan. 10, 2013, after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Lindquist; his son, Peter Lindquist; and her four children, William Knight, Thomas Knight and wife Donna, John Knight and wife Denise, and Peggy Eubank; and grandchildren Andrew, James, Julianne and Madison.

Ann grew up in Iowa and Minnesota and attended high school in Manila, Philippines, and Tokyo, Japan, where her father, Col. Brucher, was with the Far East Command. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and in 1953 married Robert Knight, who preceded her in death.

In 1974, Ann moved to Dallas where she met and married James Milvenan in 1982 and was widowed in 1993.

Ann is survived by his three children, James Scot Milvenan and wife Eileen, Bonnie DePasse and husband John, and Richard Duncan Milvenan and wife Desmond; and grandchildren Katie, Erin, Ryan, Mason, Alex, Duncan, Kendall and Ross. Ann was very proud of all her children and grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Mike, James and John Brucher; and many friends.

Ann enjoyed taking college courses, was a real estate broker, a member of Dallas Junior League, Northwood Women’s Club, Northwood Republican Women’s Club, and All Saints Catholic Church. Although a woman of varied interests, it was her love of God, family and friends that gave her life meaning.

Memorial services for Ann will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas, at 2 p.m., followed by a burial service at Restland Cemetery. Family will then receive friends at 5827 Windmier Lane, Dallas.
