Mrs. Maggie A. Murray died at her home, 430 Rich street, at 7 o'clock last evening of peritonitis after an illness of several weeks, aged 45 years.
Deceased had been a resident of Waterloo about sixteen years and had made a large circle of friends who will sincerely mourn her death.
She was born in Georgia, June 12, 1857, and came to Iowa a number of years ago, coming to Waterloo in 1886 and making her home here ever since.
Mrs. Murray was the mother of eight children, six sons and two daugthers, one son and one daughter having preceded her to the grave. The remaining children are five sons aged 22, 20, 15, 6 and 2 1-2 years, and one daughter, aged 17, all residents of this city. She is also survived by her husband, father, three sisters, and four brothers.
Deceased was a member of Grace M.E. church of this city, and had been a faithful member of the congretation during her residence in Waterloo. The funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afteroon at 2:30 conducted by Dr. Bissell and interment will be in Fairview.
