MRS. HARRY G. BROWN

Mrs. Harry G. Brown, 55 wife of Harry G. Brown, Illinois' Central trainmaster, died suddenly at, 9 a.m. today at her home, 346 Vine Street. Death was due to heart trouble following a severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism. She had been ill only since Saturday and her condition did not become alarming until last evening.

Lenora Shepherd was born at Bowing Green, Missouri, November 20, 1872, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram F. Shepherd. She attended the Bowling Green High School and after graduation was enrolled at the pike County Academy in Bowling Green.

She was married to Harry G. Brown, October 23, 1892, and had lived in Waterloo since her marriage.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, the Waterloo chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and the Elklets.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, Hiram F. Shepherd, Bowling Green, MO.; a brother, R. H. Shepherd, Seattle, WA., and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Motley, Kansas City, MO., and Miss Laura M. Shepherd, Waterloo.

Her mother, a brother and an infant daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral arrangements will be made after the arrival of the brother from Seattle, WA. The body is at O'Keefe & Towne Morturary.
