CEDAR FALLS — Virginia M. Perry, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.

She was born June 18, 1927, in Northwood, daughter of Glenn and Beva Godfrey Pixley. She married Russell Perry on Oct. 28, 1945, in Northwood.

Mrs. Perry was a secretary at Albert Lea Packing Co., and at a few local physicians’ offices, then was the secretary to the superintendent in the Aplington Community School District.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Roger (Barbara) of Phoenix and Wayne of Homer Glen, Ill.; four grandchildren, Michael (Patti) Adams, Rebecca Volkmar, Margaret (Kris) Lindskog and Byron (Amber) Perry; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert Pixley.

Private family services: will be held at Fredsville Lutheran Church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
