HUGGINS, VAN SICKLE

Earl A. Huggins, 35, of 127 Limvood Ave., died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning. Huggins suffered a heart attack at his home and was admitted to Allen Memorial Hospital at 11:55 p. m. Tuesday. He died at 12:05 a. m. Wednesday.

The son, of Amos W. and Emma Huggins, he was born June 14, 1920, in Waterloo He attended Immanuel Lutheran Church School and was graduated from East High School. He was tackle on the East High football team from 1935-38 and played tackle with the Waterloo Wildcats in 1950-51.

For ten years he was employed as warehouse foreman for the Marshall Piggly Wiggly Co., formerly Merchant Supply Co.

On Aug. 11, 1940, he married Betty Van Sickle at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Piggly Wiggly Bowling team.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Kathy and Pamela, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos W. Huggins, of 1632 Forest Ave.

One sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services are tentativly planned for Friday. The body is at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home.
