MRS. CECILIA M. WELTER

GILBERTVILLE - Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for Mrs. Cecilia M. Welter, 65, of Gilbertville, who died Sunday morning at her home of a heart condition. The Rev. Edward Schields, associate pastor, will officiate. Rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday and at 3 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Oppold Funeral Home, Waterloo. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday.

She was born on Aug. 6, 1906, daughter of Henry Helen Falk Schares in Gilbertville.

She was married to Philip Welter on Nov. 28, 1928, in Gilbertville. He died on Mar. 23 1968.

Mrs. Welter was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, the Legion of Mary and Our Lady of Fatima Club.

Surviving are six daughters Mrs. Berlin Schmitz of Gilbertville, Mrs. Leo Delegardell of Gilbertville, Mrs. LaVerne Fischels of 425 Park Lane, Waterloo; Mrs. Kenneth Schmitz of Rt. 2, Waterloo; Mrs. Thomas Gavigan of 1255 Sheerer Ave. Waterloo; Mrs. Richard Fischels of Independence; two sons, Ralph of Rt. 1, Jesup and Lloyd of Rt. 1, La Porte City; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Nie of Gilbertville and Miss Julia Schares of Gilbertville and one brother, Joseph Schares of Gilbertville.

She was preceded in by her parents, her husband, one son, two sisters, four brothers and two grandchildren.

MRS. CECILIA M. WELTER

Funeral services for Mrs. Cecilia M. Welter, 65, of Gilbertville, who died Sunday morning at her residence of a heart condition, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with the Rev. Edward Shields, associate pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilbertville. Rosary services will be at 7:30 and 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Oppold Funeral Home. Friends who wish may contribute to Immaculate Conception Church in her name.

In addition to previously listed survivors are 32 grandchildren.
