At 2:30 o'clock yesterday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Margaret Jane Allen, mother of Birney Allen of the Allen Printing Company, at her home, 1126 Bluff street, after an illness dating back but two weeks ago. Death resulted from bronchial trouble with complications. She was not taken seriously ill until Sunday.

Mrs. Allen has been a resident of the city for the past twelve years and had a host of friends who will regret to learn of her death. She was born in Penn. December 21, 1831, and when a child came to live in Wisconsin with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Pattersen.
