GOOD, WHITE, SIGLIN, FOSTER, NIELSEN, KREBSBACH, CALHOUN

John "Jack" A. Good, 76, of Waverly, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born February 17, 1932, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Paul William and Mary Dola (White) Good. Jack was raised by his mother and step father William “Bub” Siglin.

He married Darlene Foster on October 14, 1950 and later divorced. He married Carole A. Nielsen on December 4, 1971 at Washburn, Iowa. Before his retirement in 1995, he was a pipe fitter and plumber for U A Local 125.

Jack is survived by his wife, Carole, of Waverly; four sons: Tim J. (Michele) Good of Cedar Rapids, Jack L. (Deva) Good of Waterloo, Michael (Melody) Good of Cedar Falls and Dustin (Anne) Good of Des Moines; two daughters, Jodie (Jim) Krebsbach of Aurora, Iowa and Theresa (Gary) Calhoun of Sumner, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one brother William (Betty) Good of Seminole, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Matthew Krebsbach.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family.
