WATERLOO — Betty J. Hamilton, 74, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Allen Hospital.

She was born June 19, 1938, in Monticello, daughter of George and Wilma Prull Arduser. She married Larry Hamilton on Feb. 11, 1961, in Cedar Rapids. He died Dec. 30, 2000.

Mrs. Hamilton formerly worked for Kwik Star convenience stores in Waterloo.

Survived by three sons: Mike of Webster City, Todd of Cedar Falls and Ted of Waterloo; four grandchildren; a brother, George (Cathy) Arduser of Monticello; and four sisters: Emma (Bob) Dunkel of Hopkinton, Janet Meyer of Monticello, and Nancy Husmann (Robert Marshall) and Connie (Charles) Woods, both of Bronson, Texas.

Preceded in death by three brothers, James, Ronald and Denny Arduser.

Family-directed memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at River’s Edge Christian Church, 1247 Cedar Bend St., preceded by an hour of visitation. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
