CEDAR FALLS — Sharon Kay Pint, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Dec. 31, at Western Home Communities Stanard Family Assisted Living Center.

She was born July 24, 1937, in Huron, S.D., daughter of Roy Glenn and Lenora Elizabeth Johnson Potts.

Mrs. Pint was a graduate of Waterloo West High School and worked as a machinist at John Deere & Co., was a dietary supervisor at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center and retired in 2005 from Affina’s Medicare Contract Call Center.

Survived by a daughter, Toni (Mike) Pint-Burke of Waterloo; a son, Dale of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Alli and Erika Burke and Zachary Pint; a brother, Larry (Eunice) Potts of Buckingham; and three nephews, Terry, Randy and Tracy Potts.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with a 6 p.m. vigil service, and also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society, Cedar Valley Hospice, Cedar Valley Catholic Schools, or the Western Home Communities.
