Mildred E. Bundy, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

Mildred was born January 5, 1919 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of George C. & Dagmar E. (Jensen) Petersen.

She married LeRoy Bundy September 30, 1939 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death December 29, 1992. Mildred was an educational secretary at Northern University High School for 25 years, retiring in 1984.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan E. (Duane) Conradi of Waverly, Iowa and Jean (Walt) Combes of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren: Denise (Mike) Paul, Dawn Conradi, Brad Conradi, Jillane (Kevin) McBride and Stefanie Forrester, and eleven great grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four brothers, Bernard, Elmer, Lester, and Sidney Petersen.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Senior Behavioral Center at Sartori Memorial Hospital.
