MRS. WILLIAM L. SHANEWISE

Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home for Mrs. William L. Shanewise, 80, who died at 10:15 p. m. Thursday at her home at 626 Riehl St. of complications of her age.

The Rev. Q. C. Lansman, pastor of Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Gresham Cemetery north of Waterloo.

Mrs. Shanewise was born Jan. 1, 1875, in Bremer County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Miller. She was married to William L. Shanewise Oct. 25, 1899. They lived on a farm in Bennington Township until 1930 when they moved to Waterloo. She was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church and of the women's society of that church.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters: Miss Rachael Shanewise and Miss Melba Shanewise at home, and Miss Viola Shanewise, St. Louis, Mo.: a son, E. L. Shanewise, 2149 Lafayette St.; one granddaughter and a great grandson.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

The body may be seen at Parrott & Wood funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday.
