Mrs. Maude L. Wilson, 70, of 1618 Michigan Dr., Evansdale, died at 4:10 a. m. Friday at St. Francis Hospital of complications of her age.

She was born Feb. 14, 1885, in Fayette county, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Grapes.

She was married to Alva Wilson, in November of 1902. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Rebecca Lodge and the Women's Relief Corps, all of Sheldon. She had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Carl Brandes, 1618 Michigan Drive, for the past two years coming here from Sheldon,

Surviving are two sons, Mervin Wilson, Sheldon, and Lawrence Wilson, Edina, Minn.; six
daughters: Mrs. Lester Miller, Sheldon, Mrs. Thomas Faul, Oswego, Ill., Mrs. Brandes, Mrs. Edward Kroon, West Jordan, Utah, Mrs. Howard Smith, Castle Hill, and Mrs. Glen Hoy, Sheldon; 38 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call Friday evening at Chapel of Memories. The body will be taken to Temple Funeral Home, Sheldon, Saturday morning for services.
