MRS. A. C. MILLAR*

Mrs. A. C. Millar, age 22, died of pneumonia at 4 a. m. today at Presbyterian hospital. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to the United States with, her parents in 1909.

She was married to A. C. Millar October 16, 1916.

Surviving are the husband; parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Martin; brother, John, Tribune, Kansas; sisters: Mrs. Sam Thompson, Maggie and May Martin; and brothers, William and Sam Thomson, Maggie and May Martin, and brothers, William and David, all of Waterloo. Funeral arrangements are not complete.

* Note: her married name was actually MILLER.

The person named as Sam Thompson was actually spelled THOMSON. As for the brothers William and Sam Thomson, I believe Sam is her brother-in-law and William might be his brother.

Georgina was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Blackhawk county, Iowa (see tombstone photo on Iowa GPP). Her parents are also buried there.

Georgina Martin was born in Glasgow Scotland, the daughter of David Martin and Georgina (Cunningham) Martin.

She married August Carl Miller.

August Carl Miller 34, living in Waterloo, Black Hawk, Iowa; born Oct. 5 1883; working on railroad; married; nearest relative wife, Georgina

Her brothers were William Martin; David Martin; John Martin.

Her sisters were: Maggie and May Martin; and her sister Annie (Martin) Thomson. Annie married Samuel Arthur Thomson who was born November 1, 1884 in Glasgow, Scotland.
