WATERLOO — Lillie M. Bauer, 93, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born April 20, 1919, to Karl and Marie Dangelowsky. She married Ralph J. Bauer of Wesley on May 22, 1949. He died April 10, 1985. She married Armin Lauck of Algona in 1988; he died in 1989.

She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1936, attended the Fort Dodge Business College, and was employed as secretary in the district office of the International Harvester Co. for 14 years. Mrs. Bauer and her husband owned and operated the International Harvester dealership in Whittemore and Emmetsburg. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and member and past president of Women of E.L.C.A., member of the Fort Dodge Women’s Club, National and Webster County Humane Society and Trinity Hospital Auxiliary. She also served as a volunteer at the hospital.

Survived by two daughters, Marcia Bauer of Waterloo and Michele (Doug) Baade of Rock Rapids; a son, Lance (Sharon) of Winterset; a sister, Irmgard Pingel of Waukee; and five grandchildren, Melissa, Kyle and Brent Baade and Allyn and Nick Bauer.

Preceded in death by a brother, Eric; and a sister, Elsie Johnson.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Whittemore. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fort Dodge, is in charge of arrangements.

Lillie was an avid bridge player, loved playing the piano and organ, and, most of all, being with family and friends.
